Dean Stubbs is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
After receiving his Mb ChB from Otago Medical School, he spent the next 6 years traveling around, working in various hospitals in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. A major turning point for him occurred in 2003 when he completed a primary course in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine through the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), the which course laid the foundation in a journey for combining traditional orthodox medicine with an expanded knowledge of helping patients to find and treat the underlying cause of their health challenges. Dean has subsequently undertaken extra training with ACNEM in Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, Chelation, Injectable Nutrients, Thyroid and Adrenal conditions, Pain and Musculoskeletal Management, and Clinical Environmental Medicine.
He has also completed training with BioBalance (for mental health & autism), Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (run by Integrative Functional Medicine [IFM]), Fitgenes for personalized DNA / genetic testing, Microbiome and Gut testing, PH360 (Personalized Health & Lifestyle programme), and regularly attends conferences and updates every year.
